THE WISDOM OF GOD Psalms & Wisdom Books
Wouldn’t you love to be wise and know the God who is Wisdom himself? As we see not only the wise principles for living in these biblical books, but also the wise person they point to, it will help us to understand the person and work of Christ more clearly which will prepare us to worship him more fully.
JOSHUA Precept Study
This year our Precept group will study the book of Joshua. God said, “Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed.” Increase your faith in God who has put you in His grip and will never let you go! This study will charge you up and encourage you to press on!
GRIEF SHARE
Grace will begin another GriefShare group in September. GriefShare is a grief recovery program that provides a safe, comforting place to talk with others about your grief and find hope and healing after the death of a loved one. This 13 week group will meet on Tuesdays, beginning Sept 2, 6:30-8:00 at the church house.
This support group is open to anyone wanting support in their grief. For more information contact Mark Winton – [email protected]
MEN'S BREAKFAST
Men, join us for breakfast on Saturday, December 6th from 8-9:30 am. We’ll continue our study on Jesus as our Prophet, Priest and King. Cost is $7.
WOMEN'S ADVENT TEA
Please join us for our annual gathering of women on the second Sunday in Advent.
We will enjoy desserts, coffee and tea in our beautifully decorated narthex. Afterward, we’ll gather in the sanctuary to hear from our speaker Aimee Wuthrich and sing together. Come, bring a friend, and let God prepare your heart for Christmas. No registration needed.
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Christmas is all about Jesus! Help us share the story with our community. Bring your friends and neighbors to our Children’s Christmas Program on December 14th at 6:30pm. All children who come are invited to wear angel or shepherd headdresses and sit down front as we sing a few carols together and hear the story of God’s great love for us.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
Wednesday, December 24 at 7:15
Join us for our Candlelight Christmas Eve service. Children will stay with their family in the service.
