Women's Bible Study

We are offering two options for Spring 2026 Bible studies at Grace. There are 5 different study times to choose from. Read about and register for the studies below. All studies begin in January.

The Servant King - A study of the book of Luke

*This study begins the week of January 27

Walk with Jesus up close from his birth all the way to his death. This study concisely dives deep into the entire Gospel of Luke. Come along and walk with Jesus and his disciples as he makes his way through three years of tumultuous, world changing ministry. See him tenderly speak with desperate men and women while openly defying the religious establishment. Hear him call you to follow and find rest for your soul.

The cost for study is $15. You can pay online when you register or in person the first week of study. You will receive your materials the first week. If you would like to pick up your materials early or would like to inquire about a scholarship, contact Lindsay at [email protected].

Summer Study

Every five years the Women of Grace read through the whole Bible together. We call it our Read Through Year and it’s two semesters of tracing the one big story of God’s covenant love for His people. Whether you’ve never read through the whole Bible, or you’ve read it many times, rehearsing God’s story is the best way to stay anchored in the Truth. We will begin our next Read Through year in the Fall of 2026.

This summer, leading up to our Read Through Year, we are encouraging women to read From Garden to Glory by Courtney Doctor. You can read it on your own, gather with a friend, or join one of the discussion groups we’re offering. Each chapter ends with excellent questions for reflection.

From Garden to Glory

There will be 2 discussion times during the week:

  • Sundays at 9:00am
  • Wednesdays at 6:30pm

We will begin the week of June 14th and go through July.
The first week will be an introduction, and then we’ll read two chapters per week.
There is no registration, just come!
You will need to order your own book.

Aging with Grace, Flourishing in an Anti-Aging Culture by Sharon W. Betters & Susan Hunt

  • Tuesdays 10:00am, 4 weeks – room 5
  • Starts June 17, read chapters 1&2 for week 1
  • Led by Cathy Wilson
  • Purchase your own book, no registration needed

Aging with Grace by the Power of the Gospel…

There are many blessings that come with age: retirement, grandchildren, travel, and life experience. Today’s culture, however, marginalizes old age, often portraying it as burdensome and hopeless. Many older women can feel like an encumbrance rather than a blessing to their friends and family members. In response to these struggles, Sharon Betters and Susan Hunt encourage women to find hope through both real-life and biblical accounts of women who rediscovered gospel-rooted joy later in life. In each chapter, readers will be encouraged as they experience afresh a gospel that is big enough, good enough, and powerful enough to make every season of life significant and glorious.

The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment, but Jeremiah Burroughs

  • Thursdays 6:00am, room 3
  • Meets June 26, July 10, July 24
  • Led by Carol Ney
  • Purchase your own book, no registration needed

The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment, explores the nature and necessity of contentment in a Christian life. In his timeless classic Jeremiah Burroughs offers the following description: “Christian contentment is that sweet, inward, quiet, gracious frame of spirit, which freely submits to and delights in God’s wise and fatherly disposal in every condition.” The book highlights the evils of murmuring and discontentment, emphasizing that true contentment is a result of knowing God’s love and resting in Christ.
