COVID-19
If you feel sick, please do not come to Bible study. If you live
with someone, or have had close contact with someone, who is
experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to Bible study.
Take advantage of our ZOOM studies from home.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and recently attended Bible study, please contact Lindsay Clements at wogdirector@gepc.org.
IN-PERSON AND ZOOM OPTIONS
We desire to meet together in person to study the Bible. We know, however, that is not wise for everyone, so we will offer ZOOM studies as well. And if the CDC recommends that we not meet together in person at any point, we will switch all studies over to ZOOM.
For our in-person studies we will sit socially distanced and wear our masks while in the building. Some groups may meet outside as the weather allows (bring a lawn chair!)
When you register we ask you to choose the study you will attend. Feel free to bounce between studies as needed but for planning purposes we need to know which study you will primarily attend.
STUDY CHOICE
There are 2 options for participating in our Spring study. You can purchase a workbook and do weekly lessons OR you may choose to just read the assigned prophet for the week. Either way you will be prepared for discussion that week. You can indicate you choice on the registration form.
STUDY FORMATS
Most of our study formats will be 1 hour discussions. The Thursday 9:15 session is a longer format and will look different this year than in the past. This study will meet together in small groups for video teaching from 9:15-10:00 and then small group discussion until 11:00.
CHILDCARE
We will not be offering childcare for any of our studies at this point. We know this is a hindrance to many which is why we have offered more study options this fall. We dearly hope that you will attend one of these other studies as your schedule allows. We also hope to have childcare as soon as it seems viable to do so.
IN-PERSON LIMITS
We will limit our in-person studies to 20 people. This will allow for social distancing and help everyone to hear each other and participate.
COFFEE
We
will not be providing snacks or coffee this semester. Please feel free to bring your own!
